Planned
Tayson's rally tool gets a UI polish and a new home on a Nova subdomain.
For Chief Gear, Charms and T12 upgrades, with two modes you can switch between. Start from a goal to see what it will cost, or start from what you have to see how far it will take you.
A statistics dashboard for the state. Coming together with Dana!
A friendly guide to everything in Nova, old and new. Still scratching my head over how best to put this one together.
The next scheduled security review, planned for November 20, 2026.
In progress
A battle document system for TAL, built on the same foundation as the other battle plans.
Tools for coordinating state transfers: windows, caps, allocation, and following each candidate from first contact to arrival.
A long-view guide to hero investment. For every generation: which heroes are worth building on a whale, dolphin or F2P budget, and which older heroes are likely to stay useful as joiners in later generations. That last part is shown as a likelihood, not a promise, because the answer depends on strategy. Includes a shard table for every star, step by step and cumulative.

Thank you Potato !
Rebuilt the Credits page from scratch with an all-new UI : a starlit backdrop, a film-style credit roll, and a comet circling the founder card. Credits can now be edited from Admin instead of living in code. Fixed minor bugs.
New 3D-style map art, so teleport spots can be read precisely. Plus timers: during FDT, the Nova bot will post to the voice-chat text channel as each phase arrives, from gathering spots opening to spires opening and closing, right on schedule. - Roster list preview : leaders with document access can now preview the FDT roster list before it's published. - Copy blocks for FDT : FDT documents can now copy blocks from a previous round. Player assignments are cleared on copy, so last round's names don't carry over. - /nova fdt : new command showing the FDT battle timeline in UTC, with done and upcoming marks. Alerts will post 2 minutes before each event. - Bot pages : pages can now have two-column rows, text on the left and a button on the right. - Behind the scenes : cleanup of unused code.
A new Roles & Responsibilities page shows who leads and supports each alliance. Open it from the new 1781 menu in the header, next to Forum. Map has moved into the same menu. Three views : Organization (the alliance board), By people, and By roles. A small note icon on a role means there is a note; hover or tap to read it. The 1781 menu is visible to State members only. Access now follows roles : if you hold a role in R&R, the tools for that role come with it, and they move with the role when it changes hands. We switched six existing permissions over to their roles today. No one lost access. Header : the tools menu now reads Admin, Leader or Staff depending on your access. Still filling in : several alliances don't have their roles entered yet. If something about you is missing or wrong, tell an admin.
Jump between a claim and its member page, and from a city on the map straight to the member page. + Small fixes : icons, and narrow screen layout on the claims list and roster cards.
Reorganized into groups. Leaders now see every menu item; the ones you can't open are greyed out.
Publishing a battle document will also line up its notifications. Semi-automatic sending with templates, to channels and by DM.
Battle announcements are easier to build, and the /nova me message now has its own editor. New : - /nova me editor : every line of the /nova me message is edited in one place under Bot pages, in the order players see it. - Document link buttons : a template button can point to {document_url}, so one fixed label like "Foundry Battle Doc" works for every battle. - Battle time tokens : {battle_time} for SvS and FDT, {legion1_time} and {legion2_time} for Foundry and Canyon, shown in UTC with each reader's relative time. Improved : - No more blank times : if a legion time or cycle date is missing, the Publish tab names it and where to fill it in, and the send waits. - One switch style : on and off settings across documents and notifications use the same switch. - Long screens start folded : pages with many cards open collapsed and remember what you opened. - Activity history is now written only by the app itself. Fixed : - Bot page collections can't take a built-in command name like me or status. - Document tabs and the template editor fit on phones. - Long words in the message preview wrap the way Discord does.
Notifications are now a full toolkit : design a message once, schedule it, or send it from a battle document. New : - Recurring schedules : alerts that repeat on their own, like Bear Trap every two days. The screen previews the next five sends in UTC, and single occurrences can be skipped. - Send from the Publish tab : SvS, FDT, Foundry and Canyon documents can send an announcement filled with the battle title and link. - Redesigned templates : Manual, Event and Footer, all edited in the New notification editor with a live preview. - Claimant tag : the claim approved message now mentions the player inside the card. Improved : - One home : Messages, Templates, Schedules and Bot pages are tabs, with Settings at the end. - Full template loading : title, buttons, images and footer now come along with the body. - Admin settings : sending controls, Discord channels and a new activity log. Leaders can see the tab, but changes go through an admin. Fixed : - FDT battles can be launched from their sign-up form. - Long names no longer push pages sideways on phones. - Late scheduled alerts are dropped instead of arriving after the event starts.
Zoom in, zoom out and pan around the Foundry map.
A dynamic, personal battle document for Canyon Clash, customizable per alliance and per legion. An animated map shows each team's route through the canyon, and every player sees their own orders first.
An experimental calculator that offers a completely new user experience ! I made it for people (myself) who were tired of picking one option at a time from the dropdown menu.
The map we use to plan 1781's hive is getting a public sibling. Nova Atlas will let anyone build alliance territory layouts on the full state map, with no account needed. Every state shares the same world map, so it works for any server, not just ours. What you'll be able to do: - Create up to five alliances, each with its own 3-character tag and color - Place HQs, banners, bear traps and gathering nodes, and watch territory draw itself as you build - Add members as cities, paste a whole roster at once, and mark whales to show their Globe - Undo and redo freely, and keep several layouts saved right in your browser Sharing works through short codes. Press Share and you get a link to send to your alliance. Anyone who opens it gets their own copy to edit, and if they share their version, it becomes a new code. The original never changes, so no one can overwrite your plan, and opening someone else's link never replaces what you were working on. Nova Atlas runs on the same engine as our own map, so every improvement we make lands on both.
Overall security review and patching
Noël's work notes, visualized. What's coming to Nova, what has already landed, and what she's deep in right now.
Your history, recorded automatically: event participation, SvS Prep seats, team selections and more, each with its date. On a member's detail page, leaders will also see the other accounts claimed by the same person.
A full review of who can read what. Every screen now receives only the data it is meant to show, and nothing more.
A scheduled review of how Nova uses its hosting resources. Unneeded background work and page rebuilds were trimmed so Nova stays fast and sustainable as more of the state relies on it.
A map tool for planning the state's layout: alliance hives, cities and facilities, designed to be as pleasant to look at as it is useful.
Nova's first public tool. It includes the transfer power cap table for every stage of state progression and works out which troops to dismiss, and how many, to meet the cap in the most efficient way.
